8.25.19 | by Adam Balhetchet | MIDTOWN, Manhattan - A jewelry store was robbed at gunpoint in broad daylight. It happened at 12pm Sunday at Avianne & Co. Jewelers located at 28 West 47th St. According to police, three males entered the store pretending to shop for jewelry. Two men brandished firearms and proceeded to force four staff members to a backroom where they were zip-tied and duct-taped. Millions of dollars worth of jewelry were stolen from safes & displays.
