Every year we look forward to our annual family trip to family camp, but this year it was a little different. We're just now coming off of a hard season in our lives and almost didn't get to go this time. Last weekend, we hosted the memorial service for Alex's grandmother, and as mentioned in the video, we currently have no transportation of our own. The whole family would have been devastated if we would have missed family camp this year. Family camp is so popular, that it has a 3-year waiting list, and if we would have missed it we would have had to go on the waiting list.
But our God always makes a way! We had transportation and all of our family rallied together to make sure that we were able to go and have a great time.
During this tough season of our lives we realize that its really about the one priceless thing that can't be bought and that's LOVE. We love God and we love each other, and that's all we need!
