Vijayadhasami is to celebrate the victory of Good over Evil.
Who is this evil that is killing us on a daily basis. Who is this demon.
According to me, It is none other than Stress.
Only two people are free from Stress. One is Children and other person is Saint(Gnani). Rest are all going through Stress in everyday's life.
Everyone is going through stressful moments in our daily life. Be it a working men, Entrepreneur, Business magnet, working women, Home makers, NGO worker, student and retired person are all going through stress in a smaller or bigger way.
Similar to விடாது கறுப்பு character in மர்ம தேசம் , Stress is our விடாது கறுப்பு and it is there everywhere and follow us everywhere we go.
My mother is the biggest victim of Stress. She worked in a dedicated way as a teacher till 60 years and remaining 25 years Stress overpowered her life. I could not see any smile in her face for more than 25 years. I lost her due to Stress who is deadliest evil that is killing all of us(slow poison).
I do not have any solution to this problem. What I am saying is a small trailer to the issue and main picture needs to be handled by every individual. Answer for our daily stressful moment lies with us.
In today's world Google Search, Whatsapp, FB, Big Boss and social media create an enormous amount of stresses in our daily life.
One of my friends spoke to me on Friday. She went to a corporate doctor for a general check up. Similar to any other corporate doctor, this doctor gave a list of tests to be done. She got worried and stressed. She went and did all the test. She could not sleep for a week. She went to google search, did more and more research(paralysis analysis approach). She went to the extent of being like a Kamal Hassan in Vazhve mayam movie (Extent of cancer to be precise). Finally when she went and showed the report to the doctor. Doctor said she is perfectly alright which she could not comprehend. Eventually she has changed her doctor. She still thinks she has some critical illness in her. Please do not do extensive google search on health issues and get into stressful moment in life.Trust your doctor or your God or Nature or yourself. Do not get into unnecessary stresses similar to my friend.

Nowadays Stress is more like corruption in our country. we can manage it and we cannot eradicate it completely. Let us manage our stresses effectively.

- Talk openly with your close friends or family member.
- Winston Churchil's goody bag approach wherein you put all your issues and stresses. he reviewed it in two weeks. Most of it got it solved by itself.
- Write it down on a piece of paper
- One of friends is having a Whatsapp group for herself(no one is there in the group) and she posts manage there whenever she feels stressful. She says she feels a lot more relieve
- When someone feels stress, Cortisol hormone gets secreted which needs to be managed effectively.
