This weekend the lawn care business was all taken care of and the homesteading part of life had some more jobs for us. It was time to get out the tractor and dig a trench to lay down some water lines that we tapped into the well system for the chickens and the pigs, and then we also ran an electric cable in conduit out to the chicken coop while we had the trench dug. This whole job took about 2 1/2 days which was well worth it in the end.
