I Believe Nothing, and No One (Church SHORT CUT, 11|17|19)

I Believe Nothing, and No One (Church SHORT CUT, 11|17|19) After asking people what would become his Biblical Question this week, What do you believe? — Jesse talked about the way most Christians today come to "believe" things. They tend to believe what things because someone else said it, or because they read it. They're told "that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved." They also believe that "faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God," which they believe means the Bible. So people are "saved," but their life is hell! They think they're born again, but they still sin!

Evangelists try to pressure you to "accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior." But there are two kinds of belief — fake belief that comes from the outside, and real belief that comes from discovery or revelation within. Jesse says: I believe nothing, and no one. Have a wait and see attitude.
