The Bank of Hysteria

The Bank of Hysteria The Bank of Hysteria provides a space for womxn, femmes, and gender-nonconforming community members to express and validate their anger, an action often discouraged by societal norms or safety fears. The project team collected messages from community members and made them tangible as “Rage Receipts.” With these receipts printed from an installation designed to resemble a bank window, the project created a material representation of emotions valid and worthy of investment.
