Model 4C853. 48" White finish with white rolled-edge steel blades. Manufactured in 1988 by Leading Edge/Weatherite(?) for Dayton. This fan came to me new-in-box. We call it the "ring" on account of the aluminum donut glued to the bottom of the motor. The "ring" series was seen as Dayton and Leading Edge's lower-tier commercial-level offering. Performance is actually not terrible for a 48" industrial, a bit less sluggish than I had expected. For the purpose of testing, I used a solid-state control.
The Dayton "ring", or Leading Edge Hi-Tech II, was commonly seen in Toys R Us stores across the US.
