Geminid Meteor Shower
Earth is passing through a stream of debris from rock comet 3200 Phaethon, source of the annual Geminid meteor shower. You'll be able to see an average of 120 Geminid meteors per hour. However, this year under a waning gibbous Moon.

It peaks just after 9:00 p.m. the night of the 13th and lasts until dawn on the 14th. So you have plenty of time to catch a glimpse. Don't let your friends and family miss out. Get ready for a spectacular cosmic show.

The Solar System is Travelling Through a Potentially Dangerous Interstellar Storm
The solar system is travelling through much stormier skies than we thought. Scientists have come to the conclusion that we have moved into an area of space that is different and has much higher energy level. They are reporting changes that are being recorded in space that have never seen before.
