GIANT 3D PRINTER FROM SCRATCH - IT WORKS!

GIANT 3D PRINTER FROM SCRATCH - IT WORKS! It works! The Big 3D Printer MkII is finished and it works beautifully. I made a first test print of a 66mm combination wrench, 800mm in length with absolutely no warping!! It shows a few holes in the top because it has too little infill but hey! it is the first print!! It took only 6 hours but I'm sure that this thing can go way faster.

The post with the files will be updated next week just in case anyone can follow my steps.

During the recording of this video there has been maintenance work performed on the shop hence the very little speaking and the frequent change of background, lot's of noise and dust.

All the components were sent to me for free with no compromise, I'll list them down below because I really liked them.

The Duet2 was a pleasure to work with, easy to use well documented and extremely robust. Duet3D has released the next version and you can find both here:

The Hemera extruder is an insane piece of equipment, I managed to snap the filament with it trying to make it lose a step. You can find it here:

The profiles were sent to my by a friend of mine, I love them and you can find them here:

I printed every single part of the printer with the PulseXE with not a single failed print, I will probably use it to reprint all the parts with NylonX soon. You can find it here:
