According to the 1956 Watchtower article Marriage Obligations and Divorce it says that one of the causes of divorce was that women wanted to think they were equal to men. Also both husband and wives will be disfellowshipped for adultery if the man agrees to donor insemination and it wasn't adultery if a mate was caught having sex with another of the same sex or an animal.
