Welcome to a new project! Project ERA is a 1990 Mini ERA Turbo. This ERA is number 51 and has covered over 262000 miles in it's lifetime and although having been previously bare shell restored is once again showing signs of it's age so the plan is to completely strip the car back to a bare shell and restore it to better than new condition. Tasteful mods already include a full stainless exhaust system, up-rated gearbox, heated front screen and modified head, what else?

In this update the ERA comes back from being sand blasted and we take a good look over the shell to check for rust / corrosion. Unfortunately under that nice red paint was lots of filler and under the filler was rust and holes!

Work commences by cutting out the front end, wings and front panel.
