In this recording I am speaking to a preacher at Speakers Corner about the origin of the trinity again. While speaking to this preacher he said that he was a teacher of pastors, but this did not seem to help him when it came to his understanding of the book of Revelation. People who believe in the trinity have to do some proper gymnastics to fit their doctrine into the Bible, which then makes it easy to catch them out, with some of the the things that are mentioned in the book of Revelation. In this particular case the Christian seemed to be convinced that the Father is invisible, which would then make it possible for Jesus to replace Him on the throne. I managed to catch him out a few times with what was written in Revelation, but this did not seem to have any affect on the things that he was still saying.
If you go to a modern Christian church, then you will usually find that the teachers there will avoid the book of Revelation in the Bible, because they do not want their lack of knowledge to be exposed by it. I could imagine that this preacher does not teach any of his pastor students about the more serious parts of the Bible, but just makes sure that they have enough knowledge to bring the entertainment to the women and the effeminate men.
