The Panaji JMFC Court has dismissed a petition filed by Activist Adv. Aires Rodrigues, alleging that Canacona MLA and Deputy Speaker of Goa Legislative Assembly Isidore Fernandes has dual citizenship, on the ground that this issue has to decide by appropriate central authority. The JMFC Court in it's verdict has observed that the plea to direct Panaji police to register FIR against Isidore Fernandes pre mature as the competent central authority has not decided the issue of Isidore’s nationality.
