The Pentagon confirmed on Friday that 34 soldiers were diagnosed with traumatic brain injuries after an Iranian missile strike on an airbase in Iraq housing U.S. troops. President Donald Trump had initially said no troops were injured in the attack but the military said symptoms were not immediately reported. 17 of the 34 injured are still being treated and remain under observation. Iran's retaliatory strike came after the U.S. assassinated Iran's top military general Qasem Soleimani.
