Rep. Jason Crow, a House impeachment manager, made the case on Jan. 21 for issuing subpoenas for documents from the Office of Management and Budget relating to President Donald Trump’s decision to withhold U.S. military aid from Ukraine. Speaking on the Senate floor during the Trump impeachment trial, Crow, D-Colo., said senators need answers about why Trump withheld the aid. Democrats have alleged the president did so to pressure Ukraine to investigate his political rivals. Trump was impeached by the House of Representatives in December on two articles — abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.
