A powerful earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 7.7 struck 125 kilometers NNW of Jamacia with a relatively shallow depth of 10 kilometers at 2:10 p.m. EST. on Tuesday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). More information here.
