A 'Simple' Modern Dresser

A 'Simple' Modern Dresser #modernfurniture #joinery #plywood
This particular dresser build for this woodworking dresser is simple yet at the same deceptively challenging, hence the quotes in the title. It does have some DIY elements, but is not necessarily a pure DIY dresser build. For a wood dresser build, there's a little joinery woodworking for beginners, such as the half blind lock joint. The half blind lock joint is a pretty basic joint that can be done with or without a dado stack and helps give this modern dresser build a clean industrial look. The india ink on the base offsets the white dresser carcass and helps elevate this to one of many unique modern dresser designs. This could be a great bedroom dresser but could also, practically speaking, be a chest of drawers build for any room in your home. The half lap and bridle joint hybrid for the base is a unique joinery woodworking project that can test even the most seasoned craftsmen, but in my opinion is accessible to all. The dresser drawers themselves are highlighted by the continuous grain fronts and once again the black pulls pop against the paint dresser. Hope you guys like the video and I'm looking forward to see your attempts at the modern bedroom dresser and interpretations of the build.
