Foxconn had planned to begin operations on February 10th but the plan was rejected after inspections citing it is too high risk to resume operations. Ralph Lauren announced they would be closing half their stores in China and the luxury industry is expected to take a heavy hit. The Casino's in Macau have also been closed for two weeks. This is the world's largest casino hub and this is the longest such shut down in history the 2nd longest was 2 days. The one thing that is becoming clear is the economic impact from supply chain disruptions is sure to be immense.
