Human Rights Watch: ABS-CBN franchise an issue of press freedom; Congress should tackle bills soon

The issue on the renewal of ABS-CBN's franchise-- every bit about press freedom. That's according to Carlos Conde, researcher of the Asian division of Human Rights Watch as government officials' insist the franchise renewal has nothing to do with press freedom. Conde notes complaints against ABS-CBN should be heard in the proper forum. He adds Congress should tackle the franchise bills on ABS-CBN soon.
