In a surprise move that appears to break ranks within the ANC, the party's Chair, Gwede Mantashe says if SAA cannot sustain itself then it must be sold to a willing buyer. Mantashe says the government cannot continue using billions of rand to bail out an entity, that is failing to generate revenue. He spoke at the ANC's January 108th celebrations in Komga in the Eastern Cape.
