Namrata Shrestha is a model and young budding actress in Nepali Movie Industry.She has worked on movies like Gaantho, Macha Macha etc and also stared in many music videos. It was mid sunny day, there were bunch of youngsters all dressed in black tshirt and jeans. Amongst them there was this one particular personality who stood out as he was dressed in pink shorts and flowery shirt with a notebook and pen in hand, he was walking and talking to everyone out there individually. Suddenly he stopped right in front of Ms. Namrata Shrestha. He looked at her carefully, which made Ms. Shrestha nervous.
Then all of the sudden he started to yell at her.
Who brought you here?? What are you doing here?? Ms. Shrestha was shocked. He continued – Have you looked at yourself in the mirror? Ms. Shrestha was heartbroken and with teary eyes, she left that place.
She reached home with million thoughts in her head. Initially she cried a lot and then she called her mother. Her mother received the call in just two rings and asked - You sound so low what happened?? Ms. Shrestha wanted to speak her heart out but she could not say anything.She just said – I cannot do this fashion show. I am coming to Birgunj tomorrow.
Ms Shrestha was rehearsing for the fashion show and had come to Kathmandu for the first time and that too just a day before for this fashion show. Her mother wanted her to become a forest officer while her dad wanted her to become a doctor but Ms. Shrestha wanted to become an actor. She came to Kathmandu to fulfill her dreams but that particular day Ms. Shrestha was seeing all her dreams fall apart. She decided to leave Kathmandu but before she left she decided to call her friend who helped her get this fashion show one last time.
She called up her friend and told him everything over phone about what happened and why she had decided to leave Kathmandu and the fashion show. To her surprise her friend just said ok and hung up the phone. A few minutes later he called her again and said “Namu this is life. You have to face difficulties and there are people who will always try to pull you down. They will always make you feel bad about your existence. Its high time you know your worth. It’s your life. You can do whatever you want. If you want to leave you can and if you want to continue you can do that as well“ and then he hung up. She could not sleep the whole night and was thinking over the same.
The next morning to her surprise she had this positive energy after the talk from her friend. She decided not to give up and returned to her rehearsal. What happened next at the rehearsal?? To Find out please watch the full story.
