Here is a written step by step process of how I do my five minute pony tail.
1. Start with Kenra Dry Volume Burst, applying in the crown of your hair
2. Brush out your hair, select a small section in the back, and back comb (or tease) for more volume
3. Gather hair around the crown area and secure it with an elastic. Make sure it is not too tight, so the next step is easy.
4. Create a small hole above the elastic; pull the pony through and create a topsy tail. Be sure to loosen it up.
5. Take the two sections on either side, below the topsy tail; repeate the same process as before, twisting the pony through the new loop while covering the previous hair band completely.
6. Repeat this process two more times, securing all of these twists with a pony tail on the final topsy tail.
7. Pull a couple pieces down along the front of your face to make it look messy and effortless.
