Andreas Papathanasis: 'You can't experiment when there's millions of dollars at stake.'

Andreas Papathanasis: 'You can't experiment when there's millions of dollars at stake.' Andreas Papathanasis is an Alberta, Canada-based videogame developer who has worked for big-budget companies (ex-BioWare, ex-Supercell) and is currently developing his own independent titles. He also routinely publishes insightful and critical essays about trends in the videogame market. In the first half of our conversation, Andreas talks about why so much of working in AAA is assuming the status quo is somehow both neutral and aggressively resistant to change. We spoke on July 24, 2015.
