Killer Fives - an inventive new sudoku

Imran from Toronto has created a new puzzle type for us to solve, and it's a fun one.

Try the puzzle here: Killer Fives: Cages in the grid show the sums of digits within. Clues outside the grid show the sums of the digits before the 5 appears in that row or column from that direction.
