Thomas & 'Mavis' Past the Red Caboose Motel 2019 (HD)

On a cloudy, dreary October day, Eastern PA Railfan Productions brings you a short video of two of the trains scheduled for the Thomas events in October. The main focus of today was not on these events, but to see N&W 611 for the last time while she still resides on the Road To Paradise. I was able to catch both Thomas and "Mavis" pass the Red Caboose Motel by chance as we drove by. "Mavis", really SW9 No. 8618, is filling in for Percy during these events in which Thomas and Mavis both pull shuttle rides back and forth for the day. Thomas, really BEDT No. 15, and 0-6-0 steam locomotive converted into Thomas in the mid 1990s, can still be seen operating as the only operational full scale Thomas locomotives in the world. Enjoy a quick video with some unusual equipment on the Strasburg Rail Road.
