Inky Pinky is a baby flying-fox who was found on the ground on the side of a road. She was 12 days old and a little fragile. She didn't feed well and required 1 ml feeds every few hours with the milk dripped down the side of her dummy, for about 5 days then we managed to get her onto a teat and she hasn't looked back though she still hasn't caught up with her weight for age. Today she decided to show how good she is at inverting for the first time and managed to get herself into a bit of a tangle. She couldn't figure out how to right herself, then she got one wingtip caught in one of her toe claws and couldn't get it out, and she kind of forgot what was supposed to go where; Maggie and I were duly impressed (even though she really required assistance to get herself all straightened out) and gave her lots of praise and cuddles, for which she thanked Maggie by peeing on her.
