नागरिकता क़ानून को लेकर प्रदर्शनकारियों पर पुलिस हिंसा ने पूरे उत्तर प्रदेश को दहला दिया है। 20 दिसंबर को मुज़फ़्फ़रनगर के मीनाक्षी चौक पर नागरिकता क़ानून के विरोध में प्रदर्शन हिंसक हो गया। क्या इस हिंसा की शुरुआत प्रदर्शनकारियों ने की? अगर नहीं तो प्रदर्शनकारियों पर पुलिस बल का प्रयोग क्यों किया?
इस इलाक़े से पुलिस के घरों में घुसने, तोड़फोड़ करने और स्थानीय लोगों पर ज़ुल्म ढाने की खबरें आ रही हैं। देश में इस हिंसा में अब तक 25 लोग मारे जा चुके हैं.
और उत्तर प्रदेश में अब तक 18 लोगों के मारे जाने की ख़बर है
