What Is Academic Integrity And Why Is It Important As A College Student Or PhD?

What Is Academic Integrity And Why Is It Important As A College Student Or PhD? I often see people wanting to fast track the academic system. Having the desire to speed up the workflow of academia is okay, but it often can affect academic integrity.

What is academic integrity? Academic integrity is the demonstration that you have high moral character through your behaviors with your academic work.

Why is academic integrity important?:

1. Being honest and having integrity allows you to get ahead in life, and allows you to make more money. People do not trade with others that they cannot trust.

2. Having integrity allows you to have a lot more fun with your life. You will be surprised how many people want to be around people that have high integrity.

3. Having integrity helps you deal with yourself in the future. While it might seem easy to do a slightly shady task, you will have to keep that in mind in the future.

4. Having academic integrity gives you more opportunities. People know that they can trust you, so they give you more opportunities to do interesting things.

David Maslach is a research professor of entrepreneurship, innovation, and business strategy, I discuss topics, such as behavioral science, strategy, innovation, and entrepreneurship, and apply these to my new peer proofreading and editing platform. Topics include the sharing economy, altruism, investing in technology, starting a business, and bounded rationality. My favorite videos pertain to incentives, goal setting, and learning from failure to drive behaviors such as weight loss, stopping telemarketers, creating novel technologies, and creating new movements.

Peer proofreading and editing platform

A new platform where you can earn credits by editing other people's documents. Use these credits to have your own work edited. If you do a good enough job, you can convert these credits to money.

The goal of the platform is to get people to 'pay it forward' and help other people out by creating incentives for people to give back.
