Akai Force Workout (utilizing Automation, Hype, Electric, Chord and Arp function).

Akai Force Workout (utilizing Automation, Hype, Electric, Chord and Arp function). Sometimes just knowing the capabilities are just as important as a tutorial. I was working on an idea on the Force when I realized I could record what I was doing for my urban beatmakers to see how the force can be used.

1. The guitar is a loop from splice.com. Added some delay and lite chorus
2. Bassline was made from the internal instrument "Bassline." Created a patch that was very 303ish and played it using my Akai MPK Mini. Then resample as and placed on an audio track
3. String, bells and chords all played via the internal instrument "Hype." Then resampled and placed on separate audio tracks.
4. Drums programed manually. Kit built from personal stash. Drums are dry/no efx. Did not resample (would explode each sound and mix individual sounds in DAW later...personal choice)
5. Added vocal. Processed with Akai Resampler effect, filters, reverb and pitch shifted delay (automated)
6. Added Arp as seen in video.
