Carson, Washington native Datus Perry (who passed away in 1998) had claimed twelve sightings of Bigfoot, more than any living person. A former timber logger, engineer, and rancher, Datus Perry had spent most of his life outdoors in "Bigfoot Country" and enjoyed a close proximity to nature. It is probably due to this closeness to nature and his peaceful disposition that Perry had a unique opportunity to gather information about the life of the Sasquatch.
