As a world-class DJ, turntablist and a music producer from Tokyo, he effortlessly crosses over Techno, House, Drum & Bass, and Electronic music. Takahiko, DJ TAKAKI has become one of the most skilled festival performers of Japan with his aggressive and cutting-edge skills.
After becoming a finalist at the "DMC", the world's biggest turntable competition, he has continued to impress his audience with his scratching and beat juggling skills which gained commercial attention such as FIFA World Cup.
During FIFA World Cup 2014, he performed for the commercial of Panasonic, for the chant song for Neymar Jr, the active player of the Brazilian team where he performed with 10 turntables. The video commercial was nominated in Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity and was viewed more that 1.3million times on YouTube.
Takahiko, DJ TAKAKI continues to be the trusted performer for international brands such as Adobe, SONY, VAIO, LACOSTE. He been selected by Monster Energy to perform for the famous entrance space of Shibuya 109 and “KEN BLOCK’s TOKYO EXPERIENCE” festival where he performed for more than 4000 people.
Takahiko, DJ TAKAKI is a frequent performer for big festivals such as ULTRA JAPAN, METAMORPHOSE. He also performs regularly at Japan's most popular clubs such as ageHa, WOMB, UNIT, and SOUND MUSEUM VISION, as well as being a resident DJ at Japanese biggest Drum & Bass party, "Drum & Bass Sessions" where he has played alongside GOLDIE and many more international artists. Takahiko, DJ TAKAKI provides both a musical and visual experience by performing with Japan’s top visual team TANGRAM (also in charge of 2020 Tokyo Olympic visuals), where they do projection mapping to TAKAKI’s aggressive body movement while he DJs.
