S. Korea to conduct COVID-19 tests at doctors' discretion regardless of travel history

오늘부터 해외여행력 없어도 '의사 판단 시' 코로나19 검사

Starting today, people can get tested for COVID-19 even if they haven't been abroad recently.
According to the latest guidelines from the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention,... doctors can decide to conduct tests on anyone they believe may have contracted the disease,... regardless of overseas travel history.
The new measure will broaden screening, and make it easier to detect coronavirus cases.
Also, those diagnosed with any type of unidentified pneumonia will now be isolated in either negative pressure quarantine rooms or one-bed hospital rooms and will be tested for the disease.
