Extensive damage to three cars after midnight Birmingham attack CCTV footage shows men smashing up cars on Alum Rock Road in Birmingham. Car alarms went off while thousands of pounds worth of damage was done. Mohammed Ali, who is owner of one of the cars, an Audi A6, said he cannot understand why he was targeted and has not slept since the attack. Mr Ali, a 33-year-old bus driver, said: 'I was awoken that night by the sound of bangs. The family were shouting and my young nieces who were staying over were crying. I am heartbroken. I'm in shock. I've lived here nearly 30 years and never had a problem. I know all the neighbours. I have no idea why they did this.'
